昨日は、久しぶりの雨でしたが、とあるお客様のご紹介で
青山にあるヒロ ヤナギマチさんのアトリエに行ってきました。
靴好きの方ならご存知の方も多いと思いますが
ヒロ ヤナギマチさんは、英国のLondon Cordwainers Collegeで
シューメイキングを習得された方で、日本を代表するビスポーク専門の
靴職人です。
以前は、World Footwear Gallery神宮前本店にて
オープンワークショップを構えておりましたが、
昨年より同じ青山にてご自身のワークショップを
オープンされました。
ビスポークとは、完全オーダーメイドのことで
ひとりひとりの足とイメージにジャストフィットした
靴を提供してくれます。
ラスト（木型）からアッパー、デザイン、色味まで
すべて完全フルオーダーです。
写真は、展示してあった作品のひとつ
黒のフルブルーグ仕様です。
見ていて、惚れ惚れするとはこのことです。
作り手の気持ち、思い、魂が伝わってくるようで
まさしく究極の一足です。
他にもいくつか展示されている作品がありましたが
どれも素晴らしく、何時間でも眺めていられそうです。
1時間ほどお邪魔させていただきましたが、
正直テンション上がりっぱなしでした・・。
ヒロヤナギマチさん、またいろいろと丁寧にご説明していただいた
スタッフの小関さん、本当に有難うございました。
今回は、見学だけでしたが、近いうち是非とも一足
お願いしたいと思います。
そのときお願いする色やデザインを考えるだけで
今からワクワクしてきますね。
