この3連休は暑かったですね。。
ようやくジメジメした梅雨も明けたということで、
週末は地元のサーファー仲間と海に行ってきました。
サーフポイントなので、一般の海水浴場とは違って
閑散としていて、それでいてのんびりできる場所です。
今回ものんびり波の音でも聞きながら本でも読もうかな・・
と思っていたのですが、とんだ悲劇に見舞われました。
何回も来ている場所ですが、生まれて初めてエイに
刺されてしまいました。
何か踏んだなぁと思った瞬間・・
足に強烈な激痛が・・！
急いで陸に上がって足を見たらかなり出血してました。。
最初はクラゲか何かにやられたのかなと思いましたが
クラゲは経験あるのでこの激痛は違うと確信しました。
たとえるなら、足を釘で刺された感じの痛さでした。。
サーファーの友達曰く、それエイにやられたかもね・・と。
エイ？？
その瞬間、エイって確か毒持ってたよな・・・
病院行った方がいいということで、急遽近くの
病院まで行くはめに。
日曜日なので急患扱いでしたが、病院の先生に
エイと思しきものにやられましたというと、先生に
「このあたりはエイが多いんですよ」と笑いながら言われました。
さらに、「じゃ足を温めましょうか」と先生に言われて、
なんのことかさっぱりだったので、消毒とか治療は
しないんですかと聞くと、エイに刺された場合の唯一の
治療は足を温めて解毒するしかないと言われました。
ということで、連れて行かれたのが病院のシャワー室。
45度位のかなり熱めのお湯に足を入れて1時間くらい
足湯に浸かるハメに。
せっかく海に来たのに、温泉の足湯場みたいに
のぼせてしまいました。
この病院では、毎年エイに刺された人たちが何人も並んで
熱い足湯に浸かっているそうです。。（笑）
それにしてもエイは痛かったです。
まさに自然界の凶器ですね。
というわけで、エイにはご注意を！
